8 women who lost weight and got their lives back
On Wednesday, July 17th, 2013, we're accepting a small number of new clients, and putting up $100,000 in prize money for the best body transformations in the program. Read on, and if you're interested in joining, we strongly recommend you put your name on the presale list now while there's still time, because spots in the program typically sell out within hours.
If you’re like most women, you’re probably pretty fed up with the fitness advice you read in the mainstream media.
And no wonder. Everywhere you look, you see headlines like “Flatten Your Tummy in 5 Minutes a Day,” or “Sculpt Your Butt While Sitting Still.”
You know that advice is totally unrealistic — and you’re tired of being treated as if you’re stupid.
But after you toss those magazines or switch off the computer in disgust — what then? What should you do to get into better shape? And who can you trust?
It’s enough to send you to the fridge for a little taste of comfort.
At Precision Nutrition, we understand. It’s tough to wade through the sea of verbiage out there. And anyway, it’s not knowledge you lack so much as a clear and sensible plan, and a way to put it into place — along with support to guide you.
Just ask any of the women below.
Like many, they were embarrassed by their bodies and tried different ways to lose weight. Nothing seemed to work. Eventually they (along with thousands of others) got fed up and joined us here.
Their results in our Lean Eating Coaching Program have been phenomenal, as you can see from the photos and stories below. But the best part? Anyone can do it.
Just as these women have lost weight, got back in shape, and transformed their lives, so can you. All you need is motivation to change, and a first step in the right direction.
Cheryl defeats her inner skeptic
At 49, Cheryl Eckler wanted to lose weight. She needed to lose weight.
But, as a life-long learner she was too smart to be taken in by diet scams.
And she wouldn’t consider weight loss programs.
However, she couldn’t keep living the way she was. By her 50th birthday, something had to change.
Skeptical and paralyzed, a chance encounter lead her to Lean Eating.
Of course, she had her doubts. ”I was the Queen of Mistrust,” Cheryl admits.
Yet, through the program, she lost 70 pounds. She even went on to win our $25,000 grand prize.
“This is so much more than a weight loss program,” she says. ”It’s a body-mind transformation program. And if you’re ready, and you trust, you’ll find out who you are, or who you want to be.”

Lean Eating renovates Toni’s life
At 34, Toni Bauer seemed to have it all. One year later, her life was in chaos.
Moving, job changes, renovations, and the stress of constant life upheaval took its toll. At 185 lb, she was confused. Miserable. And ashamed. Then she joined Lean Eating.
“The personal connection in Lean Eating was so important,” she says. “Suddenly, it all felt real.”
And, she says, “Lean Eating was not just about me. It was also about my family. I didn’t just need something; we needed something.”
Fast-forward one year. 46 pounds thinner (with a 30-lb-thinner husband as a free bonus!), and physically and emotionally stronger than she’d ever been, Toni answered the door to greet her Lean Eating Coach, Krista Schaus — holding out a cheque for $10,000.

Meegan finds love in the trenches
A few years ago, Meegan was in in a deep, muddy life groove.
She’d been overweight as long as she could remember, living in a rut of “neglectful behaviour”. It wasn’t comfortable, but at least it was familiar. Food was a friend, a soother, and a longtime companion in the dark, lonely trenches.
Occasionally she would peek out, over the rim of the groove, but always duck back to safety. It didn’t help that the world of athletics seemed out of reach, well past the edges of her rut.
“I figured for my whole life that exercise and movement would be something I dreaded and hated and had to force myself though.”
She was depressed. Stressed. Distressed. And a bit of a mess. She wasn’t yet at 300 pounds, but she could probably hit it with a well-aimed pebble thrown by a grubby hand.
Change, said a little voice inside her head. Live. Choose something different.
She listened. Her tiny voice of resilience grabbed her hand and hauled the rest of her to the gym for another attempt. She found a trainer. Brushed off some of life’s debris.
Then she found Lean Eating. And love.
She lost 100 lb and gained a partner, plus a new passion for movement. “Lean Eating helped me to build more confidence in who I was an athlete, and as someone who set health and fitness as priorities.”

Katey loses 100lbs, rediscovers herself
Katey had tried everything to lose weight, but all the books, diets, and injections only led to a lighter wallet — to the tune of $20,000 spent on weight-loss information and programs.
It seemed like a hopeless situation, that she was going to be fat and miserable forever. But when she signed up for Lean Eating, something felt different. Something felt right.
A year later, after losing over 100 pounds and winning the $10,000 Grand Prize, Katey unveiled the body she always dreamed of having.
Her friends, the moms at her daughter’s school, even her doctor couldn’t believe the extent of her transformation. You must have had surgery, they said. You must have done a crazy diet.
Nope, she replied. I practiced healthy habits. And I believed in myself.
“But the most important thing is I didn’t wait for things to change,” she says. “I decided to make it happen. And Lean Eating was my answer.”

Patricia’s finally fit at 55
Married and a mother of five, Patricia, 55, has been taking care of people for decades. Like a lot of committed mothers, she “didn’t have the time” to lose weight or be healthy and instead bounced from diet to diet, losing weight then immediately gaining it back.
But when her obesity became a source of embarrassment and she could no longer perform simple daily tasks, she decided it was finally time to lose the fat—for good.
After one year in the Lean Eating program, Patricia lost over 70 pounds and looks fantastic in her svelte, sexy, and powerful new body.
“Women need to stop looking for a quick fix,” she says. “I know they’re frustrated with whatever diet book they’re doing and I feel so badly because I know there’s a better option,” she says.
“I’ve done Lean Eating. I’ve lived it. And I’m going to keep living it for myself and to be an example for others.”

Kia drops 60lbs, learns to love the camera
After gaining 60+ pounds during pregnancy, Kia, 34, was having trouble taking the weight back off. Embarrassed and not sure where to turn, she signed up for Lean Eating four months after her son was born.
In the beginning, she refused to let her husband take her “before” photos, worried that he was just as disgusted with her body as she was.
But after following Lean Eating for a year and losing 61 pounds, Kia turned in her baggy worn-out clothes for cute, form-fitting outfits and didn’t mind getting her picture taken.
Now she runs marathons and competes in awe-inspiring races and competitions, all while balancing a family and a full-time career.
“I saw the fat girl in the pictures and was motivated to work hard,” she says. “All I needed was the right coaching program. I’m finally the fit, healthy person I’ve always wanted to be. ”

Kim gets her inner athlete back
A former Division 1 athlete, Kim’s fitness (and perception of her body) deteriorated rapidly after college. The days of regular workouts and healthy eating were replaced by high-stress jobs and overindulging on fast food.
But after too many long, disgusted looks in the mirror, Kim decided she wanted to re-kindle her athletic body.
“I loved competing and outdoor activities,” she says, “I wanted a body that I could be proud of and would enable me to succeed.”
A year after signing up for Lean Eating, Kim lost over 24 pounds and 16% body fat, winning the Lean Eating $10,000 prize and forever cementing the healthy habits she needs to stay lean, athletic, and fulfilled.
“Lean Eating not only taught me how to make my own food, it taught me how to make my own happiness,” she says. “That’s better than any amount of weight loss or money won.”

Carey’s mind and body transformation
Carey, 41, is a self-proclaimed rebel and was about as far removed from “athletic” as a person could be. Incredibly tentative before joining Lean Eating, she wasn’t quite sure what to expect and wasn’t convinced she could change her body and life.
“I’d get that voice that said, ‘This is not who I am, I don’t belong in a gym, I can’t do this!’” she says.
A year later, after losing over 80 pounds of fat and transforming her body from obese to lean and sexy, Carey found solace in working out and eating healthy, delicious food. The change surprised everybody, especially Carey.
“I realized that, yes, I am strong, this is what I do,” she says. “Before Lean Eating I felt like I was abandoning myself. I felt like I wasn’t fully engaged. But now I say ‘yes’ to life.”
