Frequently Asked Questions
This is a Specialized Course designed for nutrition professionals who’ve already had some kind of formal training in the field of nutrition—like a nutrition certification, or college/university level classes.
This is because the concepts covered in this course are advanced. Which means you’ll need to have a solid foundation of nutrition knowledge in order to get the most out of your time learning.
If you don’t have any nutrition credentials just yet, click here to learn more about the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification—where we’ll help you master the science of nutrition and the art of behavior-change coaching.
This program is entirely self-guided and is broken down into three units. The entire material could be covered in detail in about 9-12 total hours.
Here at Precision Nutrition, we’re the originators of behavior-change nutrition coaching, and since 2005 we’ve coached over 100,000 of our own clients. That means everything you’ll learn has been proven in the real world, with real people. (No other nutrition company in the world can say this.)
And out of those 100,000 clients, thousands have started, stopped, failed and succeeded using macros-based plans. We share all those battle-tested lessons with you in this course—including our unique “not all-or-nothing” approach and troubleshooting techniques you won’t get anywhere else.
Furthermore, the team who created this course consists of the top PhDs, psychologists, nutritionists, and coaches in the world. These are people who have decades of experience in both academia and working in the trenches with real clients.
There is a 10-question quiz at the end of each of the three units in order to ensure you feel confident with the material. However, the goal with this course isn’t to get you to cram hard so that you can pass a test. Instead, our goal is to teach you the complexities of how behavior and change works and why, so you can get better results for your clients and level up your coaching skills.
All that being said: if you score 75% of better on the three quizzes, we’ll send you an official Certificate of Completion (which you can submit for CEC’s at participating organizations), along with a digital badge, to demonstrate your commitment to continuing your coaching education and practice.
