Who we’re looking for

A talented Community Engagement Specialist with the ability to engage, connect, and support our online community.

You are a detail-oriented, community-minded PN grad.

ou know PN’s products inside and out and love connecting people and building meaningful online spaces. You have the heart and skill to make our Facebook communities thrive and you’re the kind of person who can balance warmth, professionalism, and structure—helping members feel welcome while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

You are an exceptional communicator.

Whether it’s welcoming new members, guiding discussions, or resolving access issues, you’re clear, empathetic, and reliable. You write beautifully and can adapt your tone to fit PN’s voice—friendly, supportive, and evidence-based. You’re equally comfortable speaking up in conversations, moderating posts, or creating engaging content that sparks connection and learning.

You’re tech-savvy and organized.

You know your way around Facebook groups, Slack, Zoom, and Google Drive—and can keep track of multiple threads, events, and shared files without breaking a sweat. You maintain documentation, FAQs, and community systems with precision, and you enjoy bringing order and clarity to digital spaces. Familiarity with tools like Zendesk or light event coordination (e.g., Facebook Lives or community events) is a bonus.

You’re a self-starter who thrives in remote work.

You take initiative, manage your time effectively, and don’t need much supervision to deliver high-quality results. You know how to balance priorities and keep things moving forward—even when the pace picks up. You’re dependable, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working independently while staying connected to a collaborative team.

You’re a coach at heart who understands what makes the PN Community special.

You believe in the power of positive habit change, lifelong learning, and human connection. Whether it’s helping a member celebrate a milestone, navigate a challenge, or stay motivated, you bring empathy, insight, and encouragement to every interaction.

You’re flexible, proactive, and people-focused.

You can adapt to new priorities, tools, and processes with ease. You enjoy being part of a growing, fast-moving company where your work makes a real impact. You collaborate well across teams, support your peers, and contribute ideas to keep the community vibrant, safe, and mission-aligned. And while you’re based in Canada or the U.S., your energy and care will help PN members around the world feel part of something bigger.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key part in cultivating a positive, connected, and mission-aligned experience across PN’s Facebook communities. Your work will include:

Community Membership Coordination

  • Managing the process of vetting, approving, and removing members across PN Facebook communities.
  • Ensuring membership aligns with established community guidelines and eligibility criteria.
  • Collaborating with Customer Sales & Support to answer questions and resolve access issues.
  • Documenting and maintaining clear membership processes and criteria.

Community Moderation

  • Fostering a welcoming and engaging environment that reflects PN’s values and mission.
  • Answering questions, guiding discussions, and supporting members with warmth, professionalism, and clarity.
  • Upholding community guidelines with consistency and care.
  • Driving engagement through meaningful conversations, creative content, and live events.
  • Cultivating brand loyalty and advocacy among members.
  • Collaborating with community leads and other PN team members to surface insights, feedback, and opportunities.

Community Documentation & Systems Support

  • Maintaining and updating key documentation (FAQs, onboarding/offboarding processes, and shared resources).
  • Organizing and managing Google Drive assets, permissions, and event calendars.
  • Uploading and organizing relevant content (Lives, Deep Dives, Coaching Calls).
  • Creating and managing Facebook events for community activities.
  • Providing basic reporting and engagement insights to the Community Engagement team.
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding of community moderators.

Community Lead (L1N, L1SSR)

  • Posting and engaging with weekly Welcome and Friday “Progress Check” posts.
  • Monitoring and responding to comments to encourage member engagement and retention.

A few important caveats

This is a dream job, if you’re the right person for it.

1

Must-Have #1: PN Certification and Product Expertise

You’re a proud PN grad with your PN Level 1 Certification (required) and ideally also hold the PN SSR and/or Level 2 Certification (preferred). You know PN’s products, tone, and community culture inside and out—and you’re passionate about helping others live the PN philosophy every day.

2

Must-Have #2: Strong Communication and Community Management Skills

You’re an active and experienced Facebook user who understands how to use group admin and moderation tools effectively. You communicate with warmth and clarity, write exceptionally well, and engage with professionalism across online spaces. You know how to foster meaningful conversation, uphold community standards, and make every member feel welcome.

3

Must-Have #3: Tech Savvy and Organized

You’re comfortable using tools like Zoom, Slack, and Google Drive, and can easily manage multiple threads, platforms, and documentation systems at once. You have a sharp eye for detail, strong follow-through, and a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

4

Must-Have #4: Self-Starter with Remote Work Experience

You’re proactive, resourceful, and work well independently. You’ve successfully worked in remote environments, know how to organize your time, and consistently deliver high-quality results without heavy oversight.

5

Must-Have #5: Location and Alignment

You’re based in Canada or the U.S. and aligned with PN’s mission to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives—both inside and outside the community.

6

Nice to Have

You have experience moderating or engaging in online health and wellness communities, bringing empathy, encouragement, and professionalism to every interaction. You’re also comfortable using tools like Zendesk and supporting light event coordination—whether that’s setting up Facebook events or helping with live streams. On the systems side, you’re confident in organizing shared assets and collaborative workflows in Google Drive, keeping everything clear, accessible, and well-structured for the team.
