I think for now I am going to keep my carbs (with the exception to a green apple post work out) for my cheat meal of sushi on the weekend and my banana in my protien drink once a week. I don't have much of a desire to cheat- because I have been allergic to so many foods for so long that most things people have as cheat food I have not eaten in years (pizza, pies, brownies, etc.). I may include a cheat meal of rice pasta with meat balls once I get the allergy to tomotoes cleared (I love the sauce)-- but I guess I could do pesto- I don't know, I like to keep it simple- the more choices I have the less control.

Thank you so much for your response and suggestion.

I finally posted my pics on my blog but could only figure out how to do them as attachments- how did you get yours directly on the page?

MY LIFESTYLE

Hey Kyel this one’s for yoy since you said:
"We're only a year different, but you look sooooo much younger than me! I'm after the fountain of youth that you've bottled!"

I am big into Organic living and eating, so most of my food is Organic, hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, colours etc. free

I do not smoke

I do not drink alcohol

I do not do artificial sweeteners

I do not drink sodas or fruit juices

I stay away from processed food

I do not keep sugar in my house or any other processed food

I eat large amount of fresh vegetables every day

I eat protein with every meal

I stay away from protein, fruit and muesli bars…only in real emergency- couple of times per year perhaps.

I use whey protein sweetened with Stevia

I am not into fast food.

I associate food with pleasure not guilt

I take Fish oil

I include healthy fats in my eating plan

I eat very little dairy

I use Himalayan crystal salt and heaps of it. I love salt!!

I eat mostly Berries and Low GI fruit-occasionally high GI fruit too.

I keep my intake of starch on lower side. I eat complex carbs such as oats, brown jasmine rice, sweet potato, humus, pumpkin and lentils. Very rarely I indulge in heavy duty German Pumpernickel bread or Brown rice bread.

I eat food that is as close to natural state as possible

My meals are cooked from the scratch from fresh produce

I do not eat pre-made microwave ready meals

I do not have microwave

I drink reverse osmosis water

I do not drink from plastic water bottles-glass only

I walk a lot in parks/forests

I am physically active everyday

I do heaps of yoga-generally everyday

I love animals

I have deep tissue/relaxation massage each week

I do my best to be positive and cheerful creature…90% on the solution 10% on the problem.

I live fairly simple lifestyle...I am not party, party..big time socializer. I prefer to play volley, do yoga, go for run/bike ride, watch some cool movie, check art, body& mind festivals-Expos or read books instead of hanging out in clubs/pubs etc.

I eat out (If not on strict eating plan) 2-3 x per week. Usually nice steak with veg…or Chinese stir fry veg with lean protein...or some nice wholesome café’s food like Stuffed sweet potato or burrito with some lean protein choice.

I drink cappuccino with heaps of froth and sweet coco powder 1-2x per week. Usually before doing Astanga-Power yoga.

I have sweet desert 1 x maximum 2x per month. I try to have healthy treats like home made fruit crumble, brown rice pudding and oatmeal banana muffins. But sometimes I go big and have ice cream, chocolates, custard…well whatever I fancy at the time.

I am sure I could think of more, but right now I am spent

Ciao

Cheers LA

If it was me I would have my banana postworkout instead of an apple. You can take opportunity to have high GI so why not? But hey it is just me...you may have reasons why you want apple And remeber to have your cheat meal after workout.

You will enjoy those so much! It's funny what we all want. I wouldn't have thought of pumpkin, but there has been an acorn squash on my counter for two weeks calling to me! That and fruit and red peppers.

Big kudos to you for sticking it out 'til Wednesday!

Too funny!

You should meet my boy cat Tablet... he does XTreme Kneading.

Unfortunately, it's not as relaxing for us as your picture might suggest. His thing is to climb up on your lower legs when you are laying down on your side, balance there, grab a hold of the blanket in his teeth for extra balance and just pummel the heck out of your legs WITH ALL FOUR PAWS! The bad part, as his perch is a rather narrow base, is that he slips... and his hind claws start to rake you a bit as he kneads. He purrs like crazy while he does this. Pity I can't get him to use all that power on doing my back!

11:00 am -Deep tissue/relaxation massage 80 minutes-AWESOME

20:20 pm - Gym 10 minutes Bike, 20 minutes Power walk (warm up for yoga)

20:50 pm - Yoga Recovery 70 minutes

5 feeds..still on Swim,fly,run

One of the most common questions we get from Precision Nutrition readers is whether we can help them personally. The answer is usually no, and has been for some time. And the reason is simply that there are more people that need help than there are qualified coaches to help them.

But every now and again, we open up a few spots in our coaching programs, and today is one of those days. We're now accepting clients for our group coaching programs: Lean Eating for Men, and Lean Eating for Women.
