I don't have any trouble with HIIT. It's the steady state stuff that I dislike. Are you not originally from NZ? What are you doing there? It is high on mine and hubby's wish list for a holiday. Maybe next year.... |

I prefer steady over HIITmost times. I love reading..so I just sit on the bike and read...before you know it 40-50 minutes are gone..wshoooo I am originally from Czechoslovakia,lived in Spain and then 13 years in South Africa.I moved here to join my partner who is Kiwi It si really stunning here,but the weather can be a bit of a pain in the...you know where Ciao

How are ya?! I'm seeing you on threads all OVER the place-you are one busy chicka!!!! All goes well here, got some water skiing in this week-YAY We have one more scheduled trip this summer as my son is heading back to Flagstaff the 1st of August. No doubt we'll try to sneak a few more in, after all, it's still HOT here thru Oct.!!! I see on one of your posts you prefer steady state to HIIT. May I ask you why? The info I'm aware of says HIIT is the way to go for fat loss-No? You are so knowledgable I thought I'd pick your brain! I am really busy with other stuff so I must be careful not to overdo it. So steady cardio is more gentle on me..that does not mean I yawn while doing it.I still work hard but not as hard as I would have to with HIIT. Just like anything in life you have to play with programs to see if that suits you or not. For example I reccomend to 90% of females to lift as heavy and as hard as possible. Yet there is that 10% that needs to go a bit lighter. I for example build easily and tend to get a bit chunky looking.So when I do weights I need ot do high intensity,supersetting, no breaks in between. That way I can't thow ultra heavy weights ( I am pretty strong) and have to drop poundage considerably. That way I keep my lean mass-harden my muscle yet I won't build.( I alreday have size I want) That is me..others will need different approach Ciao Cacao
