I just wanted to respond about all the hulubulu on anconda. I have used this product along with Mag 10 ever since it came out. I think this is the best product I have ever used in the recovery aspect of training.
I recently lost about sixty pounds on my own albiet screwed up all protein diet. Lost a lot of muscle while I was at it. I walk approx. 12 miles a night, starting at anywhere from midnight to 2 AM. Takes me about 3 1/4 - 3-25 minutes. I do this mostly because it puts me in my zone. This is what I do and don't recommend any one else do it. This is when I'm at my most peace. Prior to going out I take one Spike pill. Half way through I take half of a Finbar. I walk 3 days with the fourth off. When I get back in I immediately mix up 2000 liters with one scoop of Mag 10 and one scoop of Anaconda. I consume about half of this while doing situps and other ab related exercises, about fifteen minutes. Then. I hit the weights for about an hour, hard. This product is amazing in the capiblity for recovery, but you have to experiment and find out what works for you. Usually, about fifteen minutes after WO I will consume 1 scoop of Grow, but sometimes will go with 1/2 scoop of Surge and 1/2 scoop of Grow. By the way, I am 60 years old and I didn't discover how important recovery was until about a year ago, as I have been walking for eight years, although not this degree. Bottom line is don't follow some program blindly without a little experimentation. John B., thank you for teaching me how to eat healthy. |

jstoller - are you working out 30 hours per week? 3.25 hours walking, abs, one hour weights = 4.5-5hours per day x 6 days per week. Think that speaks more about your dedication than anaconda.

anaconda protocol
It seems to me that 30 hours a week would be over training. Have you be able to stay injury free?
I think Thib is a smart guy but know that one size training for all does not work. He even admits to it in his post of his previous attempts at failed bodybuilding competitions. Many things can affect your attempts to achieve a great physique. It's a sad truth that age is one and hormone levels play a big part in that. I believe adding muscle is possible at any age but how much you can add will be limited by age, genetics and a host of other factors. I think PN understands this or they would not suggest that you have blood work done to determine if you have any hormonal issues. They are looking for low testosterone levels, DHEA, thyroid, IGF-1, lipids, lutenizing hormone and several others. Some of these can be corrected with supplements and exercise but others can not without medical intervention, ie drugs. Just some food for thought here is all. I for one don't have 30 hours a week to train nor would I want to. I still have to work for a living and have a family to devote time to as well. I think that kind of training is for high level athletes. Look forward to seeing those stats on those using the protocol. |

teamleader - Yes to the 30 hrs. per week. Simply stating that I cannot recover with Surge Recovery by itself. Since using Anaconda and Mag 10 recovery is much better.

paxtonguy - I don't look at it as overtraining. My walking is something I enjoy very much as I am very relaxed while doing it. My lifting is when I really exert myself ie train.
No injuries to speak about really. Had a hamstring bother me for about six months one time, but walked my way through it. I have had all my blood work done and I am fine on every level. As I said earlier, I start in the middle of the night and usually finish about 6-7AM. My son and I own a construction business, so my hours are flexible as I work out of a home office. |
