ABOUT US

Kim Misher

Kim earned her bachelor's degree in political science at Brown University, where she competed on the women's lacrosse team and snowboarded alongside the women's ski team.

Upon graduating, she studied Russian language as Kathryn Davis Fellow at Middlebury College.

She was later selected Junior Fellow in Nuclear Policy at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where she remained for over three years, publishing on issues ranging from missile defense to security politics in the Middle East.

Something was missing though. A life once built around being healthy and enjoying the outdoors was now centered around her blackberry and 3:00 pm cupcake breaks.

Unhappy with who she was becoming, Kim entered the Lean Eating Coaching Program. With the help of her coach, Krista Scott-Dixon, Kim found her abs and her guts.

She lost 24 pounds, won the 2010 LECP contest, and finally admitted she hated her job!

She joined Spezzatino as a part-time editorial assistant in September 2010 and is now a full time member of the PN team, acting as our "Precision Nutrition Insider" and social media director.  Stay tuned for awesome updates from Kim on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
