Cynthia Berg

As a US Marine, Cynthia knew what it took to master fear and push beyond the limits.  But as midlife crept closer, even she found herself unmotivated and overweight.

Determined to get her groove back, she joined the Lean Eating Coaching Program in 2009 and brought home the $10K prize by losing 40 pounds and well over half her body fat in just six months.

That was nice money, but it was just the beginning. Cyn decided to leave behind an 18-year career in business to study nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and pursue certification as a PN professional and an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation.

Holding a BA (Magna Cum Laude) in Psychology, with a focus on learning theory and cognitive-behavioral therapy, Cynthia understands how people think and how they learn, but perhaps more importantly, she intuitively connects with the emotional origins of a person’s behaviors.

As a PN Lean Eating coach, she side-steps nothing, thoughtfully challenges beliefs and maintains a supportive expectation of greatness for her clients.

Besides studying and coaching, Cynthia has spent her time inventing healthy recipes, creating content for Spezzatino magazine and photographing bodybuilders for Iron Man magazine. On any given day in Austin, Texas, you’ll find her chasing balls on a tennis court, helping the Crime Prevention Institute put former inmates to work, or rocking her home free-weight gym.

Cyn’s motto is: be fed ~ be fit ~ be fierce. And she’s looking forward to showing you how.
